The Bear Retreat sleeps 8 people and is located in the heart of a magnificent forest in the Laurentian mountains, a short 10 minute drive from the town of Saint Sauveur with its 8 ski centres and part of the largest night time skiing area in Canada, 10 golf courses, a fantastic water park, restaurants, bars, theatre and famous shopping outlets.
Mont-Tremblant with its 94 ski runs and 6 golf courses is a short 40-minute drive north. This central location and close proximity to so many attractions makes The Bear Retreat a perfect destination. Montreal and its international airport is just 45 minutes away making getting to and from your destination easy and convenient.

The Bear Retreat offers activities for all seasons.
In winter, with guaranteed snow, you can ski in the nearby St. Sauveur ski centres. Hundreds of kilometres of cross country skiing is offered in nearby Morin Heights and Snowmobiling is available locally for the more adventurous!
In Summer enjoy the several championship golf courses all within 15 minutes drive. Lake Fiddler offers swimming, fishing and non-motorised water sports, all within walking distance. The surrounding mountains are a hiker's dream or you can choose to cycle on the dedicated trails through outstanding countryside.
From Montreal: Highway 15 North, exit 60 (Saint-Sauveur), route 364 West to Morin-Heights; turn left on route 329 South. Drive south for 10 km.

The Bear Retreat - Luxury Chalet Rental
The Bear Retreat is a beautiful two storey log chalet which accommodates up to 8 people very comfortably set in over an acre of forest. As is associated with the Laurentians - the autumn colours are something to behold.
Step inside and bask at the beauty of the solid log structure, cathedral ceilings and real stone fireplace. An experience of unsurpassed luxury and comfort.
The chalet has two bedrooms with king sized beds, one bedroom with two twin beds as well as a double hide-a-bed on the mezzanine.
The fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, dining room with seating for 8, and vaulted living room, as well as the all season screened-in veranda all afford a luxurious self catering stay in this privately owned chalet.
Indulge and pamper yourself in your own 6 person hot tub/jacuzzi or enjoy the outdoor sauna and BBQ. In the summertime, take time to relax in the perfectly maintained gardens, or play in your own little snow covered forest of 1.5 acres in the winter. If you are up early enough you might even see Deer grazing. Nearby are some fantastic spas for proper pampering and for golfers and skiers you are spoilt for choice with championship golf courses and the largest night time skiing area in North America where you can ski up to 10pm on flood lit runs.

All prices exclude tax which is 5%(GST) and 9.5%(QST). QST is charged on the GST in line with Quebec tax law.
Minimum stay two nights. Discount available of 10% for bookings of two weeks, 20% for bookings of three weeks.
A non-returnable reservation deposit of $500 is required to secure a booking. This can be paid directly to the bank, via Paypal or by Credit Card (via Paypal). Final balance is required no less than 8 weeks before the rental.
A security deposit is payable on arrival to cover breakages/damage. This is returned upon check out inspection. Our terms and conditions set out the circumstances in which we will withhold all or part of your deposit.
Check-in is from 4pm and you must be checked-out by 11am on your departure day.
If you wish to arrive 4 hours earlier or leave 4 hours later there is an additional fee of $50, or if you wish to do both the additional fee is $100.
Non-smoking only. No pets allowed.
